Do you move your sims around a lot or stay "local"

When you're doing a Legacy Challenge do you stay in the same home or do you move around?  I'm asking because in my current game I'm trying to get to 10 generations. I'm halfway there, currently with...

Both. My matriarch (vampire) has had the same house since 2019. Her kids moved out, but when they had kids, the one who was my "heir" moved back in with the matriarch until they were a teen or adult. Then they move out, do their own thing, have kids. And one of their kids moves back in with the matriarch. On and on. Her house is huge and has so much stuff in it.
