- I use it quite a bit but mostly for an artist's retreat (have easels scattered around one of the small lots so my Sims can paint by reference. Also use it for a couple's retreat since I've got a massage center, and I also have a restaurant. I just recently topped off the Herbalism skill so I'm working on creating potions to take to Selvadorada; I also finally finished the Gardening aspiration since it makes Sims immunie to fire, so I want to see if that works with any fire traps.
- I have it. I use it a lot for the CAS and build/buy, and now and then for vacationing - not so much because I'm into the vacationing but because I really like the world. It just feels good to be in, very calming. I suspect that the world with Jungle Adventures will be less calming, given the very different nonhuman inhabitants. But it looks gorgeous, and I love being "in" the different Sims worlds.
As for integration, I hope bugspray will work on the OR mosquitoes! - I do own it but my sims have never visited there. Between uni work and being constantly ill for the last 8 months I don't get enough time to sim that would allow for such gameplay.

I own it and I do enjoy sending my families there on occasion. There is some beautiful scenery there and I can hardly wait until seasons arrive and we can have winter and fall there! My only (minor) complaint about it is that we can't just do day hikes. There are times when I just want to send my sim there to hike and maybe fish for a bit and I can't unless I rent a space. I haven't tried for a while but I'm hoping someday they update it.
They fixed the hiking issue. I'm able to do it in Granite Falls.- One thing I like about OR is that it added a cabins and a lot of new cabin themed items and wallpaper. It also added cabin flooring.
- I have it, but I think JA will be much better. If there will be ways I can use OR that will be nice though.
- I got Outdoor Retreat when I got TS4 so I've never played without it. I've never done the Herbalism skill and I've only taken sims on vacation twice but I use everything else in the pack. I plan on finally trying out Herbalism whenever I get Jungle Adventure
- I agree with many that I don't use it as much as I should and I tend to only use it when I send sims to gain the herbalism skill or to complete collections.
I also agree with @luthienrising that it is a very beautiful, and very peaceful environment. I really do love it there and hearing the crickets and owls in the background. - MidnightAura868 years agoSeasoned AceI have it. Will use it a lot more now toddlers can sleep in tents.

I bought it a while back but found searching for insects and plants too taxing so never returned until recently when I rotated to Johnny Zest. I sent him there with his love interest and am trying to enjoy searching but can I hell find the hermit's cave!
The hermit's cave is easy to find once you get your bearings in the National Forest. The cave entrance is opposite the two falls fishing spots if you use the forest main hut as a center. The falls are on one side and the hermit entrance is on the other along the rock wall.
