Do you place laundry machines in your homes?

I do in some households. I try to have some variety, like having some saves with pets and some without. :D

I generally put a hamper in every bedroom and in a bathroom if it'll fit, though it means I have to spend a while collecting the clothing from every hamper to put it in the wash, which is annoying.

I only have one household that does laundry and they use the washtub and clothesline because they're my retro 1950s household. Otherwise, laundry doesn't interest me very much.

I usually only put laundry machines in because I get tired of the whim popping up all the time...which still annoys me, because if they have a washer, they'll still roll up whims for a wash tub. Now when I make laundry rooms, I have three or four hampers so I only have to have my sims wash clothes every few days instead. Admittedly, I only have a few sims in the few households I play, but I'm not looking forward to when my sim families start getting bigger.

No - never. I just bought the pack for all the other content. I do not care for laundry in my game. My sims are too busy to be bothered.

I wished laundromats worked in here like in Sims 3 - as they were good places to send sims to meet and get to know other single sims. Then my sims would do laundry - but not ever in their homes.

Yes! Never thought so, but I really enjoy doing laundry in TS :D. It's also fun to see when the dryer catches fire... o:)

I don't. It was sort of tedious in Sims 3. And I don't buy stuff packs. Enough of it in real life. I do real laundry everyday. Found a real apartment without any place to put a washing machine. The landlord asked innocently, "Is it really important to you?" My goodness, when you have a family, especially a baby, yes! You don't have time to go to a laundromat everyday! And it would cost a fortune. So, yeah, family sims should have one, lol.

First thing when I download a house from the gallery is: deleting all laundry hampers, washing machines and all that! B) - I had some "fun" with doing the laundry for a week or so, but then it got more than tedious. The sims often switch their clothes, and it amounts to much more laundry than it would in real life. Laundry is annoying enough in real life, but you I don't have to organize your whole day around the piles of dirty clothes. With the sims and more than one household member it's too much for my taste. I like all the objects and furniture that came with the laundry pack, would love to have the washing machine and dryer just for deco and not having to do the laundry. o:)

Generally, I have the last Sim into the shower go through the laundry looking for change (I enjoy seeing what else they might find), and then take a load to the machine. I'll run it every three or four days - with just a couple of Sims, there isn't that much laundry to do.
