Do You Use Pre-Made Rooms? (poll)

I like them. And how to make a starting room at build mode
So, at my games always there are houses than include premade rooms with some edits

Pretty frequently... when I actually bother to build. I'm a completely hopeless builder so for empty lots I tend to download houses from the Gallery and if I need to expand/edit an existing house I often check out the pre-made rooms. Might switch items etc but the rooms work great as templates.

I made this poll because someone previously asked this question. I was interested on what it would look like on a poll. And hey! all votes are good here. Excellent comments too. The variety and diversity of us players is quite awesome. B)

I do use them but mostly just for a guide of what looks good together.

Never use the room itself, but sometimes I do look at those, for finding something I never find fast from catalog :)

I use them when I want to quickly whip up a home for Sims I don't plan on spending much time playing as. Otherwise I usually build from scratch for my main Sims. I have never downloaded from the gallery. The only time was when I got a new computer and I downloaded my own builds.

I kind of have the idea that it would be hard to place them in my existing builds easily, so I hardly even look at them. Now I think it's a pity because I'm sure there would be some cool rooms, but yeah... it feels like too much of a hassle.

Only when I'm tired of starting from scratch.

I regularly look at them, when I am lacking inspiration or want to go for a specific style. I only place a few items I like by clicking on the items in the preview window. But I don't place finished rooms because they rarely have the right size or window placement for me.

Never, it's usually pretty awkward trying to make them fit into a room/house so I usually find it easier to just make my own. Bathrooms are the only ones I've ever really used but even then most of the maxis ones are massive so they don't work in 9/10 builds
