Yes, it bothers me. Like, I don't mind if relatives who don't interact much aren't friends, but they should at least know each other. Of course, I also don't think family should forget each other either. Like, if a parent and an adult child lose touch and aren't friends anymore, that's fine, but having to reintroduce them to their own father or mother who raised them? Ridiculous. I use mods to turn of culling of family relationships, but the fact that I need a mod for that just irks me.
