Does anyone know when the updates to the future cube were added?

I checked it out and saw two new options: ask about future and ask about the sprites.
Ask about future has many answers that can come up, thus it mustn't have been there since release. Ask about the sprites is something that definately wasn't perviously in game.
When I last time had my sim use the cube, it had three options: ask for scientific mysteries (may grant focused moodlet), ask for inspiration (may grant inspired moodlet), and ask a question (may grant confident moodlet). It had only three answers: positive (which gave a positive moodlet depending on the question asked), negative (gives a tense moodlet), and "ask later" (which appeared when sim already has a moodlet from previously asking a question from there).

As this object is very unpopular, the new options have gone unnoticed by the most of community (even by me).
