Does high school years effect other life stages?

Does the newest expansion title sims 4 high school years have more of an impact on the sims 4 as a whole? Such as adult/young adult life stages, fashion other than teen fashion. Or is it simply an expansion just for the teen life stage? Or does it effect other sims and their lives?

Can’t trendi, social bunny app, and the thrift store be used by any sim? And of course I would think anyone could live in copperdale. Adults can also wear the clothes that teens do. I thought I read somewhere that others could visit the school on weekends too. I think anyone can use the photo booth, looking at the pictures on it, and of course the Build buy. I think anyone can use the pier. But I believe only teens can attend active school.

I do remember in the livestream when they were talking about CAS that this was a teen pack. But there are teachers too, so their might a few adult type fashions too.

Plus the fact that how your sim finishes the high school will affect their career and university path.

Sims who dropped out or got expelled cannot join certain careers and cannot study regular degrees at universities.

However, if we take previous life stages (children and toddlers), then mostly nope. Children can ride the Ferris Wheel and spooky house attractions, but there are so much new objects they can't use: footballs, photo booths, escape windows, pillow fights etc.

If your sim dropped out of High School as a teen it will have fewer careers available as an adult.

If your sim graduate High School early they can go to Uni as a teen.

I believe that complete if the teen-exclusive aspiration will have effects that last longer than the teen years.

Hmm… I guess it gives you an opportunity to shape a part of your sims life if you wish to.

Edit: didn’t see EgonVM’s reply when I wrote. On the phone for a bit.

    Wait really?

Yes, so it is. I'll quote myself from the High School Year's Did You Know thread (which includes the list of available and unavailable careers):

These sims can still apply to universities. However, they won't get into basic degrees. They can get into distinguished degrees, but if they don't get into any, they can't enroll to university. What's dumb is that even when the sim gets into none of the degrees, it will still be an acceptance letter.

Graduating early allows teens to enroll in and attend university.
