Does Sims 4 run better on Pc than Sims 3

I’m looking into getting a PC again and wondering how well sims 4 actually runs? I found sims 3 to be really choppy and laggy for me..

I’m currently playing on console and would much prefer it for pc
feedback

    I have an ASUS and I play all of the sims ( except 1 ). They all play well, no lags and great graphics. I wouldn't use anything else.

    I had a problem at first running sims 2. When I enabled the "Origin in game" option it just started working properly. I don't know why this worked or would have anything to do with it being able to load, I just know it worked for me.
