Dogs get dirty constantly

The only place I have a lot of pets is in a save game with "premades" from prior iterations. I didn't understand why whenever I rotated around to play a bit the dogs would be filthy. If I took a sim to visit another family that had dogs they spent their time bathing the animals lol. Welp, shouldn't have made those families until I was ready to spend some time on them I guess.

Thanks for the info @mrkyle. That makes sense... same advise I give when people complain of staff not working well ..darn I feel kinda dumb now.

Do we have a cheat to max out training like that? Some families I might not play enough to make it worth it and I don't really want to rely on a mod to make my utopia worlds.
