Donate to a protestor.....?

Yep, I'm stuck on this too. Ironically before I needed to find any protestors there were quite a few happening in the Spice District, now I can't find any!

Your own sim can use the various interactions to make other sims join your cause/promote your cause but I couldn't find a way to donate when it was a protest my own sim had started. lol

There probably is a super easy way to do this that I'm missing. :|

*edited: To start a protest @EmPemm just click the ground and choose start protest, make sure your sim has chosen a cause first though.

Just discovered how to do this... start a protest, click on a sim nearby and under the "Political Career" interactions under 'Friendly" ask them to Join In Protest. Once they have joined in, cancel the protest on your sim and then click the other sim who is still protesting... now the option to 'Donate To Protestor' will be available under the Friendly interactions. :)

Great, thanks very much. I think you need to be in the political career to start a protest as my sim doesn't have the option if I click on the ground (she is in social media). I have a teenager due to age up soon so will put him on the political career :-) Thanks again

They do happen randomly but that seems to slow down once you have a controlled sim in the political career. :)

It was good that you were eventually able to find a protester. It was kind of you to post feedback on the time of day that you found the protester. It can help other simmers who are finding it hard to find protesters.

If you have the UI Cheats Extension mod , it was affected by a game patch and was causing issues with the phone.
There has been an updated version of the mod now released since then .If you have that mod in your game, it would be best to remove the old version and download the updated version

If that doesn't help the issue, try moving your mods folder to the desktop and see if that helps. If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.

Thanks, it was definitely the right area, my sims wen there around the same time on a saturday and all I had to do was click on the protester, then friendly and the quest was complete!!!

Why do they come up with things are are a real pain to do?

I had one of my sims start a protest and my other sim donate but I'm not getting the interaction

I have seen random protests after I had one sim join the Political career. Just play for some time and soon you may see protests happening randomly.
