If you have the UI Cheats Extension mod , it was affected by a game patch and was causing issues with the phone.
There has been an updated version of the mod now released since then .If you have that mod in your game, it would be best to remove the old version and download the updated version

If that doesn't help the issue, try moving your mods folder to the desktop and see if that helps. If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.
