I'm pretty sure some (if not all) the expansions released at $60, grabbed all the money from the "gotta get the pre release order" people, then dropped the price down right away. I really don't feel like researching that so take it with a grain of salt, but that's my memory of quite a few of the expansions because I always waited for them to drop in price, which usually happened within the first couple of weeks to a month. Huge money grab. My memory was the expansions were 60, the middle ones were 40 and the stuff packs were 10.
