- I think this pack will help me at my building.
I mean I am not a builder, and it shows as I keep selecting same things all over again, same colors..
And I also do not want to build long period of time in a row, why usually I also play with my tester-sim a bit in my build save. (well at least lots are play tested , hah. )
But this may take me out from my comfort zone, if I need to build in certain budget or certain wishes are limiting what I need to build.
:) - @Ellupelluellu I'm not a builder either but I really enjoyed this feature in TS3. I like challenges though and if I view it as a challenge then it'll work for me. It'll probably take me quite a while to advance in the career because I'll probably only do one or two jobs a week. So as not to burn out.
- RememberJoy4 years agoSeasoned AceThis pack looks like a lot of fun! I've been having a good time lately playing around in build mode, so this comes at a good time for me. I love that there will be multiple perimeters to work within to keep it nice and challenging, and I really hope likes/dislikes and preferences will be added to base game (please!).
The furniture looks great and I'm so excited to see more art, clutter, curtains, and rugs! The sectional couch will be fun to play with and we get more bunk-bed styles! There's a lot here to be excited about, and we have less than two weeks to wait, yay! "simgirl1010;c-17885731" wrote:

Yes, just like taking one room at the time, my patience in building/renovating takes about that long at one sitting :p- logionX4 years agoLegend

I'm hoping this is will be the case for me too. I liked decorating rooms in House Flipper. I hope it will be fun to decorate rooms in this pack and that the game will reward you for it. It looked like in the trailer like you could choose to follow all your clients wishes or change things around and be more creative because you have better ideas for what works for them. - ck2134 years agoLegendI have an idea. :)
It might be fun to give my sim a small design studio business.
They can have art painting as a side business and sell their paintings at their studio. Any skill building related to their career can be done there.
The can call up any clients and have them come over for a social/business visit.
Perhaps there are some other pack features I can take advantage of there.
This would be just for a little extra immersion. - Kita53994 years agoSeasoned Ace

I love your idea! I have an “arts center” I use that has a floor (and office space) for each of my creative Sims. The bottom floor has the photography studio on one side, and a painting studio in the back, the second floor has the music room, third floor has the “maker” space... can’t wait to add in the office for an interior decorator, probably put it in near my stylist areas. I can see this pack fitting in so well with other packs that focus on the creative! - elliebreton4 years agoLegendI'm really hoping they have a new world they haven't yet shown us...
But, despite that, I am still quite excited and liking the look of a lot of the stuff in it. SO MANY new bunkbed styles! Yay! I've been trying to figure these out:

I wonder if we can set likes and dislikes in CAS, cos that would be totally awesome! Hopefully, it is to do with the extra slot they showed near the aspiration slot. But if we can set them, I wonder what will happen with existing sims... maybe randomly generated likes and dislikes? But I guess we could CAS full edit and change them if we wanted to. - RememberJoy4 years agoSeasoned Ace

I'm thinking the two tables represent furniture preference, modern verse gothic maybe? I hope they tell us what furniture fits in what category as I know very little about furniture types. - DrukiB4 years agoRising Rookie

Likes square tables rather than round tables maybe?
Or is that too picky?
