@elanorbreton , well you can plant one in planters inside, but it does not look like that from the bottom :) (tho only ones I have planted were planted outside and in those bigger planters)
Ooh, so maybe that is a deco one with the pack then... ?? "elanorbreton;c-17887152" wrote:
Can you put a real cowplant in your house? Do the current ones look like that with a pot at the bottom?
As you can tell, so far I have sadly been unable to get a cowplant in my game.
I think you can plant them in the big planters, but not the small ones as far as I know, they need alot of room.
I'd just love a purely decorative one, you know, doesnt eat people...doesnt turn into bones when you forget to feed it.- logionX4 years agoLegend

I think there is one in debug mode. Otherwise I think people find the cow plant seed in debug mode, plant it, and then they shift click on it and cheat it to full size. "logion;c-17887167" wrote:

You can also get the seed by fishing. The dock at Magnolia Promenade is a 100% result. (or at least it has been for me)- elliebreton4 years agoLegend

Yes, I fished one out of Magnolia Promenade once, but didn't get chance to grow it as I started a new game just after.
@Holiday that crawling does look a bit odd, I wonder if they left it like that for the final version. I would have thought they'd sit down from the side and swing their feet up, isn't that what they do on the sun loungers? - DragonAge_3009054 years agoSeasoned Ace

You need tall walls and lots of room to put them inside. A cowplant takes 5X2 tiles, 6X2 if you want them to stay fully grown. Any less room inside or outside and they revert to dirt piles. It depends on where you place them if you want them to stay fully grown.
See below link to see what I mean, any less space and they revert to dirt pile. I made this to put on a lot with 10 excellent or better plants to easily complete two of the last requirements for the naturalist trait.

I use a level 10 gardener and buy rare seeds until I get one. Sometimes I have to spend 10,000 simoleans before I get one. Then I plant it on a micro tiny lot which speeds up the growing time.
I hope we do get a decor cowplant because I can't keep them alive very long. The cake comes out when my sims are sleeping and dies before they wake up. - The sofa looks amazing :) Really like them adding that extended place to rest on. The more I see the more I want the pack :D
- Chicklet453684 years agoSeasoned AceI love, love, LOVE the idea of this pack!
It totally forces me to actually "play" and also keep me interested because I get to decorate/renovate houses but with restrictions, which makes it much more difficult than just decorating to decorate.
I'm really really REALLY interested if the mechanics will work with custom sims we've created and custom lots.
I don't really want to be forced to only use EA pre-mades and EA houses.
I much prefer to use the sims in my neighborhood that I've D/L'd or created and all of the lots I've added.
I'll still be buying the pack regardless but that will determine if I bother to actually play the career.
