How do you make a continuation of Dustin Broke's story from Sims 2 that makes sense? Is a (corrupt?) Detective Dustin Broke interesting? Let me know what is your idea

TS4 is set in an alternative timeline, the Dustin Broke from TS2 from what is written in the wiki is very different from the one in TS4. The one in TS2 is a teenager an a delinquent who has a relationship with Angela Pleasant but the father of Angela hates Dustin. Where as the one in TS4 is a young adult, a celebrity in the business career with no known connection to anyone.
As it stands there is no way the stories can be changed to make sense. unless you go through the motions of creating your own Broke family to make it match with that in TS2.
