This. Something like this would add so much to the game for me. Imagine several busstops in every neighborhood, and after the traveling loading screen you would get a moodlet depending on how long you've travelled. Sims who went from Willow Creek to Newcrest by bus may get a moodlet like 'back pain from long bus ride'. Sims who just traveled from Windenburg to Sulani could get '+2 dazed, from plane turbulence'. Would be so much fun imo.
Also would love to if we have variable loading screen where our bus is driving to a destination, like sims bustin out for ps2
Yes! This would be quite easy to implement and it would help with livening up the loading screens."izecson;c-17739225" wrote:

That's not even the worst one. Sims teleport from a tropical climate in Sulani to an urban city in San Myshuno in 2 seconds, no transportation, just on foot. Could this be more unrealistic?"Sthenastia;c-17739377" wrote:
I really do not understand people who want to have TS5. If they will realise this, community will waiste some years to have seasons, vacations, business, pets, universities, restaurants ect. Again...
@Sthenastia Yes but hopefully better versions of those packs because of a better base.
To people who don't understand why some want a new base game again I recommend thinking back to a time when the Sims 4 didn't exist and nobody wanted a new game since the Sims 3 was just fine.
Imagine if they had stopped in the Sims 3 or in the Sims 2 or in the Sims 1 even. We wouldn't have gotten the evolution we got.
This game isn't just about packs, it's about its base. It needs to evolve. If not it will always stay behind the times. Just look at the previous Sims games- If the base game is good I can overlook certain theme not yet arriving, I played Sims 3 since before Late Night and was playing base game only for months I wasn't thirsty for new content because the base game was pretty good, and I certainly didn't keep waiting for a new pack after installing a new EP back then.
At this point for Sims 4 even after new pack has been released Ill always wondering when the new pack announcement is gonna be. - LiELF5 years agoLegend

I think that's just a matter of what entertains the player. For me, I found Sims 3 base game to be completely lacking in anything interesting to do and liked Sims 4 base game much better because it had playable venues like bars and lounges.
It might have to do with what the player tries to do when they first go into the game and if they can succeed or not. The initial experience leaves a lasting impression, especially if you started The Sims with a different game because that sets the bar for expectations. I found Sims 2 base game completely fascinating but it was also my very first exposure to The Sims so I had no expectations at all and went in completely open minded. I often wonder if my perception would be different if I had been exposed to Sims 4 or 3 first. - FriendlySimmers5 years agoSeasoned Acei would love to see cars in the sims4 a retro style pack 1950,1960,1970,1980,1990,2000 to now (upcoming 2021) but as a player have my doubts as well so will wait and see

Exactly my issue, i dislike the base game for this one. With its restrictive cheklists that you cant ignore in many cases, game mechanics and limitations that feel very outdated, and other issues. This game looks modern to me so i am kinda shocked with how many of its mecahincs feel this outdated, such a contrast. It is such a big let down because i like things about 4, i dont act like it doesnt have a single thing that is fine about it, and i dont understand people who act this way towards an iteration, it is ridiculous. Anyway, too bad i cant even make mods for the issues i have with it that has to do with its foundation, i just gave it up. I am kinda on a break since i cant play it anymore, could last for a very long time but hopefuly something changes about the game by then. - Babykittyjade5 years agoSeasoned Ace

^^^ I too, am very enthusiastic. Especially as much as I like Snowy Escape.
Speaking of zombies and high school. You just reminded me of video game that came out years ago. The game featured a high school cheerleader in her little cheerleader outfit. She loved lollipops, and she would go around in her home town taking out zombies with a chainsaw. Saved one zombie, her football playing boyfriend. The video game was called Lollipop Chainsaw. :)
???????? hahahaha sounds funny I'm going to go look that up. "DanmanNefarius;c-17721078" wrote:

2017 was the last time that we got 6 packs, it would be amazing if that happened.
mehh i'd rather have them take their time so the pack will actually be good... 6 packs so fast just proves they are rushing content without properly testing it and i don't like how terribly shallow they are atm. this whole snow fun pack should have been part of seasons. same story as the pet stuff pack: DLC for DLC = very bad and an obvious cash grab! as if the sims 4, with a total sum of near a 1000 $ for not even a complete and properly working game already wasn't a cash grab! i always loved the series but this is getting too crazy for my tastes. sims 3 already was expensive but at least you would get a ton of extra content for the same price. heck, even vanilla sims 3 already offered more than sims 4 with EP's! maybe an exaggeration i admit, but unlike vanilla sims 4 vanilla sims 3 is far more enjoyable imo.
I wouldn't mind a short break from new content if it gave them the chance to fix some of the bugs with the current content. Take a look at AHQ and there are still a lot of issues that are outstanding, even with the bug fixes we got in the last patch.
I guess I'm in the minority in that I actually enjoy MFPS -- I think if it had strictly focused on the small animals and didn't throw in the extra cat/dog content (which was useless if you didn't have C&D installed) it would have been even better. Maybe added a second small pet, like a bird that you could teach to talk and gain Charisma (plus fulfill Social need just by talking to the bird), but that might have been too expensive for an SP budget.- SP18 in January

@stilljustme2 I mean these are still things that so far have always been in the Pets expansion pack so I still think it's incredibly greedy to ask for more money even when the Cats and Dogs pack it self was pretty empty.
But Stuff packs, especially some of the earlier ones have always had content we normally get in the base game or other expansion pack. From butlers, hot tubs, ice cream, movies, slip and slide etc.
So I'm not hoping for more SPs this year. We have a ridiculous amount of objects and clothes already and tons of new stuff comes in other packs so I absolutely see no use in SPs. They are just a marketing thing.
