I had a situation where my legacy sim had the Villainous Valentine aspiration and I had no couples in my game (aging on, gen three, neighbourhood stories on). I could have created couples for him just to break up, but that didn't inspire me. Instead I set up an alternative universe with a copy of my sim and completed the aspiration there (new save with premade couples). Then I went back and cheated the trait to him like it was a nightmare that leaked into reality.
