Enabling cheats - will they disable achievements, goal accomplishments, etc?

In game cheats won't affect your achievements or aspirations.

You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a member and can then post pictures, have a signature, post links and change your profile picture.This thread explains about it.

They do not. You can actually use the money cheat to give yourself 1,000,000 simoleons and get the Rosebud achievement ;)

If you play The Sims 4 on the PS4 or Xbox One, the cheats will disable trophies. However, this doesn't happen on the PC and Mac version of The Sims 4.

I just realized you're talking about The Sims 3. Ignore that comment. XD

No, I'm pretty sure you still get achievements. Cheats are useful for complex and expensive builds.
