Failing auditions?

I think there's a perk that lets you automatically pass all auditions once you get to level 3 fame. Annoying to have to cheat but it's a potential workaround.

Okay, so I’m doing the same thing as last time, I’m maxed on acting, charisma and yet I’m still failing the auditions consistently when I meet the requirements. Anyone else having this issue?

Are you traveling between accepting the audition and going to it? There was a bug with the acting career where if you had a loading screen between when you accepted the audition and when you went to it you would automatically fail, and if you had a loading screen between when you got the role and when you went to the gig you would not go to the gig. I have no idea if either was fixed because I have a big rotation and haven't been back to the actor family yet. It was super annoying.

Could it be that all of your Sim’s needs are not green? And you may need to select the risky options in order to pass.

I think I figured it out! So my sim kept on failing the auditions, but I was never at the Sims's lot. Once I went to their lot, and signed up for a new audition, and passed it.
