Nope, no dragging directly from the open box. But this might depend on specie, they give different options. As the carrot can only be eaten as is, I doubt it would be a point putting it into the fridge anyway. I tried different species today and yesterday as the farmer will pay with whatever was harvested, and I found at least 3 different coding of those - eggs and basil can probably be transferred and still be cooked on the new lot, while green peas and carrots can only be eaten. If I use the box I will need to find what produce can travel without losing their options. If there are enough species for this farmer to grow something year round, I could just adjust what is produced.
Another thing might be to pay with preserves instead of fresh produce, but I would need to look into that later (have not yet tested cooking with preserves thoroughly :)
