Fave spot for proposals?

Usually is a romantic dinner at one of my sims homes just for the two of them - usually.

In previous games it was usually at a romantic picnic near a lake and waterfall or a weekend getaway over dinner where m sims were staying for the week-end.

Usually near the waterfall from JA, or near the water in GF. Lately I’ve had them propose in front of the Christmas tree/fireplace, makes for cute pics I think.

I've used the bluffs, restaurants, the von haunt estate right outside the hedge maze or near the waterfall, and the romance festival. Often times there's a stream or pond nearby my sims house so I just walk them over there for the event. I think anywhere secluded can make for some nice engagement screenshots.
