Felt cheated by my game today. (Alien abduction and Occult babies)

My witch (who had a alien housemate) got abducted by aliens.
Due to changing the gender settings in MCCC, she came back pregnant.

I've been anticipating this birth for days (RL). Really looking forward to the possible stories, the sibling rivalries....


When baby is born, I name him Leo. He looks human. Okay, I think, let's see what happens when he (eventually) ages up. Leo is a spellcaster with a weak bloodline. :o I know he is half his mother's DNA, but still. I was soooo looking forward to my random alien baby. :'(


So I felt cheated by my game today. Has anyone else had a similar experience with mixing occults??

    It could have obviously been mod related for you but I doubt it as I don't play with mods and my male spellcaster have had human kids from abduction in my game, so I'd say it's the game and not your mod.

    I never get alien abductions anymore. I think it’s an unwanted effect of having the NPCC mod but it’s a sacrifice I have to make in order to keep my game free of random townies.

    If a occult sim is getting pregnant from another occult sim normal or via abduction there will be always be are 50/50 chance that the child will become one of its parents occults form or in very rare cases becoming an hybrid. ( which are very glitchy and unstable without an occult hybrid stabilizer mod).
    And in this case it choose spellcaster instead of alien.

    If you've MCCC, look into changing the occult pregnancy chances, that way you can decide what's more or less likely between two occults.

    Yeah, I've noticed a few bugs around Spellcaster sims and their children. I actually had a vampire child sim leave CAS as a vampire, only to get into the world for them to suddenly be a Spellcaster, like what??
