Fence Sections Disappear, Leaving Only Fence Posts

I've had this happen in the past, not recently though. I noticed, it was when I placed a gate with MOO. I delete that part of the fence, save, exit and restart the game. Usually that works for me.

This keeps throwing me off because it is so random for me when it comes to a solution. I have tried the fix you guys are talking about and it has been the most likely to work but sometimes it still is an issue. I also have tried using the sledgehammer to delete the fence and then using undo and redo back and forth frantically until my original fence somehow materializes lol. So im gonna go ahead and label my comment as not helpful...sorry about that, i just wanted to put in my 2 cents

I have this problem in Henford. I've tried every 'work-around' I could think of, but it just keeps happening.
I was going to mention this, but gave up and just put bushes or something in the holes in the fence to keep the chickens from getting out (or foxes getting in). Not every lot, just certain ones.

If you use the sledgehammer tool to delete the invisible fence, you can then redraw the fence and it will display correctly.

This bug was here some years ago, then went away and seems to be back :s

I've had this problem happen to me when using MOO, and placing a gate that shouldn't normally fit the size of fence I'm using. I'm not 100% sure if that's the cause of the glitch, but trying to avoid doing that has kept it from happening to me since I noticed it, so...

To avoid it I either only place gates with Move Objects OFF, or, if I want to use a larger gate for the fence, be very VERY careful about placing it.

This doesn't work, MOO off. 2 lots at least have this fencing problem.

I have this often and its mostly when you moo things

and try to place gate anywhere in the build... sometimes even doors

but game somehow considers everywhere gate touched as stuff that should disappear out of gates way

and workaround that ive found is that when the fence disappears after placing gate

you have to drag another gate over the spots where fence is invisible for it to show again

and try to avoid gate snapping to any spot of fence that is visible (cause it will make new invisible fence spots to fix)

and delete the extra gate after you have all of the fence showing again
(do not place it down cause that again creates new spot to fix)
