- catloverplayerSeasoned AceI'm really excited about this pack but I see some negatives as well.
Pool parties being introduced but no pool slides or pool waterfalls.
No hotels. - pyjamacoolRising TravelerKinda scared about the maximum number of families on a single lot not gonna lie.
Blog post only mentions "renting a basement, a duplex for close families or big apartments for large families" but not whole buildings with many families and the only pic showing multi residential lot shows two big apartments. Hoping we can get at least 4 families which was more than enough in TS2. - PandoraTOSeasoned VanguardI’m a bit torn, so I’m posting in both threads, lol.
The main negative on my mind at this point is that this pack is probably going to be super buggy on release, so who knows when I’d actually buy it. So many new systems! Forget it, everything will break. I’ll probably also hold off on installing any pre-release updates for a bit, just in case. - Despite my initial opinion about this pack, I'm quite excited for it now! However, I have a feeling that Build Mode might break in the pre-patch because of the new apartment system introduced in this pack and also whether or not the animal sanctuary will be a rabbit hole...which is most likely the case but I'll take my own assumption with a grain of salt though. Breaking and entering is another aspect that I'm concerned about because there's not enough details about it, especially when it comes to the so-called "snoopers" (is this what they're calling nosy neighbors or burglars now?). ?
- SilentK008Seasoned NewcomerI regularly post in the positive and negative threads, for me it works great.
I am looking forward to the pack but I realize that different features might not be implemented in a way that I like.
Will continue to hang out in the positive thread because I really do like having fun and dreaming about how it could work out. That said, there is a reason that I remain offline and only update a few times a year and it is not just the mods. A feature might be really badly implemented, a severe bug might be hidden in the patch or something else.
I stay offline for the patch prior to the pack. The patch fixing all the stuff after the pack met real life simmers with all the packs installed. After we have a patche with “we fixed these 5 smalls bugs and gave you a new armchair” and all the modders say “all my mods are fine” that is when I go online.
Just saying the high school patch with werewolves running feral while playing with their phones. I missed that patch and could go in with mods for it later. It would have made me unable to play.
The occult sims are often forgotten when it comes to testing new content it seems and the occult are of high importance to me so it is down periscope and staying solo for me. - SweetieWright_84New SpectatorMy negative thoughts:
My first thought was City Living 2.0? I rarely say something should have been in (insert pack here) but from what I've seen, it should have been in City Living. We did get talking toilets in City Living though ?.
I'll probably still get it eventually but I don't think I've seen anything new in the trailer. I'm not one to get annoyed by reused animations because to me it leaves room in the budget for more fleshed out features (at least I hope it does) but it all feels the same as things we already have. The infected sim has the same animation as rabid rodent fever.
I hope the livestream, assuming there is one, will reveal more interesting gameplay. - DaraviNew TravelerI just saw the trailer, my only negative point so far is the choice of music for this trailer. That beep sound was nerve-wrecking and disturbing to me . I had to muted it and watch the trailer again. I'm too sensitive for that sound, and I hear deep tones badly, so it was an overload. I guess I'm the only one, the other comments applaud for that song. On the ep it self I'm looking forward it, negative things like stll no bands will shown anyway with further information, but so far the positive things are in majority. 2 new kind of kids play which don't need technology, I love it.
- meeshwoodSeasoned VeteranI'm wondering if the tenants are going to come in the same way that roommates come, like the tenants won't be playable and apartments will be limited to one sim per apartment. I hope that isn't the case.
- InuMiroLoverNew SpectatorAs much as Im looking forward to this pack, I am bit concerned as to how many separate families can live on one lot. I know its been buzzing around that only 2 families can share the lot which honestly isnt great sounding. Id be pretty pleased if say 3 households could live on a single lot.
- atreya33Seasoned AceI am a bit disappointed about the city feeling. I was hoping for a new urban environment like city living with large buildings. This looks more like a town, not a city. It looks nice but we could do with another real city in the game at this point.
