For Rent Opinions please

I have heard/read here about the bugs reported with For Rent.  Are there features in this pack that can be turned on or off?   I get that being a landlord is the main focus of the pack, which had reported bugs on this site.  Is it a feature I can turn off or avoid???   I really don't want to mess up my current game.  Thank you in advance for your opinion.

    and have read the entire lessons guide in game, started a new save, but before loading I did create backup's jic.  I am both excited but wary at the same time... I have never gotten a pack, .... knowing before hand, ..... that it doesn't function correctly.  🤣 Only a genius would do this!  🤣    Anyway, thank you all, and since I do not know how to close a thread, If you would please  simgirl1010​ close this thread.  This was opinion, not solution.  Just saying....  And I did not forget you!😁

    Hi I bought For Rent the week it came out. I don't play as a landlord or tenant. I have all the gameplay features with this EP turned off.

    I still play the world as a vacation destination and the build/buy DLC is wonderful in this EP.

    Here is a recent discussion on For Rent in the feedback section of the sims 4 forum. I think this thread is very helpful and descriptive with the screenshots here

    If you mean that you want to avoid all gameplay features and use only the world and the items (outfits and furniture), you can do it. And you can even visit Tomarang safely as long as you don't live or visit a residential rental lot if you worry about this.

    I had played with For Rent in my save files for a long time without problem. But I still avoid rentals for the same reason as you until it's fixed officially.

    I don't care about the gameplay because, as a Southeast Asian local, the theme of Tomarang is worth enough to me. But it would be better if everyone could enjoy all the features without paranoia.

    Let's wait for other people to answer more because I want to know too.
