Ooh ok, what would you say are your favourite parts of Growing Together? I was a HUGE Sims 3 Generations fan so love anything family/homey. I wondered if it pairs well with High School Years? Tartosa looks stunning, do you know if weddings are still broken? Sorry for all the questions 😂

Werewolves looked interesting to me for the CAS and Build Buy but I wasn't overly impressed with previous occults (dare I mention mermaids) so I was a bit skeptical. I'm glad the advancement is good this time around!
That's such a shame about For Rent as it really appealed but similarly to Wedding Stories I've stayed away because of mentions of the key part of it being broken.
Lots of love for horse ranch I see, I never had much time for them in Sims 3 but now I'm curious haha

Hmm ok that's a shame about High School Years and Growing Together as I loved Sims 3 generations so much. I'm less of a builder or CAS-er so was hoping for something rich with stuff to do or enhance what my Sims already do. I must say Snowy Escape and Seasons are my favourites

Crystal creations was another one I was intrigued by! I love them in real life haha and it felt similar to Paranormal Stuff in that it had a lot more to offer than just 'stuff'? Thank you so much for answering ❤️

Any of the occults that get their own Game Pack are generally fairly well supported. Spellcasters are a bit controversial, because most of their spells are just cheats, but Vampires and Werewolves are both really well crafted.

I would hold off on Wedding Stories but High School Years is a great pack IMO. If you use mods a.deep.indigo has a mod that makes HSY so much better. Add in her education overhaul for even more immersive gameplay.

I'm so glad to see My Wedding Stories has improved for you! It really appealed to me I was gutted when it was so broken for everyone that got it initially. Equally feeling that way about For Rent. I think Growing Together and Werewolves are looking like unlikely frontrunners haha, thank you!
I love Horse Ranch and Crystal Creations. I get a lot of use out of both. Of the two I like Horse Ranch a bit more. There's a lot more build mode and cas content naturally and it's all really well done. On top of that you get one of the most beautiful worlds with Chestnut Ridge. Then there's horses and nectar making. There is just so much to do.
I love the gemology skill and the ability to craft jewelry in Crystal Creations. And not just gorgeous jewelry but items that help with skill gains and grant moodlets. If you play witches or other mystical types of sims it's a great fit and adds a lot to that style of play.
I might be in the minority but I love MWS. Mostly for Tartosa. It's a small world unlike Chestnut Ridge but it's every bit as gorgeous. It's perfect if you set your stories in Italian or Greek inspired settings. I waited a few months before I got it but I haven't had any issues with weddings.

You're welcome 🤗
I'm disappointed about For Rent also. I thought I'd be buying that one right away, but no.

I've played several Weddings since they put out the repair patch for mws. For the most part everything works now. I haven't been able to get the flower toss to work. Sometimes I have to click on something more than once to get sims to do what I asked but beyond that I've been satisfied with the gameplay. The world is beautiful.
Growing Together added family dynamics and more family activities including stuff to build a splash park. It has become a must have pack for me. Also if you play with infants it gives more items for infants. I really like the recreation center lot type and the splash pad items. The baby showers and family reunions are nice too.
High-school years focuses on teen gameplay. You can travel with your teen sims to high-school, attend prom and graduation. It comes with a rabbit hole carnival area which is pretty neat.
Someone mentioned avoiding For Rent, I totally agree. I would avoid that pack until the game breaking bugs are sorted out.
