FREE VAMPIRE GAME

I somehow have Vampires and I did not buy it. I am not sure how it got into my game, but I do not want them. I have never brought vampires, or supernatural, Now I do not know what to do about it. I though about deleting sims 4 and reinstall but I am afraid after reading so many that could not reinstall their game and all their packs. I want Jungle Adventure, but wish I could clear this up first. How in the world did this get put in my game? Any help or ideas.

  • You could try checking yuor Origin order history to make sure you didn't order it accidentally. Open Origin and select the Origin menu, then Order History, and check All for the time period and scroll through. Did you buy a bundle recently that included it, perhaps?

Another possiblity is that some well meaning forum friend gifted it to you. I don't think those show up in Order History. You might have to go through Origin Help to figure out how it ended up in your game, and maybe they can figure out how to remove it -- maybe deactivate the activation code or something..

I've reinstalled a few times and haven't had issues with not being able to install all packs so maybe they've solved that issue in one of the Origin patches.
  • No I did not forget about installing Vampires, because I never would, I did not get supernatural in Sims 3 either. I did go to my account on Origin, but I did not even see sims 4, did see the last 2 that I did buy, some I have, but do not seem to be there. I did not even see Sim 4 game listed and I have all the games but Jungle Adventure. all stuff pks, except one, But I would never, never, never buy Vampires. Jungle Adventure will be my next buy. If I can get things straighten out
  • You might have to go back a few pages to find the slot if you buy a lot from Origin (only game I play from there is Sims 4 though I've got a pretty packed Steam library). This does sound like an Origin issue though and would be best taken up with them. Maybe they'll let you switch Vampires for JA?
  • I had EA call me about my problem. He was very nice and said he sees where it happen in Feb. the same time something else was doing. Not sure what. Anyway he said he could get rid of the Vampires for me. Not to uninstall. So he fixed it so I will not have any Vampires running around. the only thing is when I go to play it say some data is missing. so I guess that is the vampires missing. I just click it off , it does not seem to bother my game. I do not have cc or mods, so that is not a problem with that. Everything seems to be working good, I even took the gate from the fence away and left the door unlocked and no Vampires visited. So right now I am a happy camper.

What refund?, I didn't pay for the game. somehow it got on my computer, he traced it back to Feb and said something happen, not sure if it was a update or what, But it was installed to my games.

I presume it was through Origin? That is the strangest occurrence using Origin I've heard, but enjoy your new uh, lack of vampires.
  • This might be the first time I've ever heard of EA giving something for free to a single customer without any precedent.

And the customer still isn't happy because s/he doesn't want that content in his/her game. :joy:

At least it's all sorted out though. But for future reference, you can run TS4 with a certain argument so that it disables packs you don't like. http://jamesturner.yt/disablepacks
