Gallery Spammers

well 50 is too much to understand

but sometimes say 3 times same thing makes sense because sometimes you make slight mistake uploading (say notice small error like one floor tile being off and correct it) and try to upload it again and then gallery decides you cant delete the post you made before and :weary:

I've got The Modern, The Modern II and The Modern III because of a story I was working on and made major changes to each and with the last one, I had accidentally placed a random wall but left it because it's frustrating when you make a mistake and don't realize it until people have already started downloading it. So yeah, minor mistakes can be a reason for uploading the same thing one or two times but after three, I personally don't see a reason.

Except of course if there is a glitch in the upload and the gallery says you can't upload it then you find out after multiple tries that it had actually uploaded it each time... That's happened to me but I'd removed the duplicates as soon as I saw them.

yeah. i still have duplicate build on gallery because it wont delete no matter how many times i try so like sometimes gallery just doesnt like you lmao

have habit of correcting some builds or like trying to decrease out the packs that i added like one item from and hence reuploading them possibly inside 30 mins from uploading

I also had to unfollow a great creator because they liked about 50 of other people's creations a day, and all the likes were cluttering up my news feed.

Yeah I had to do that too, but she is a friend, so every now and then I manually pop into her page and look at her creations :)

I do the same. I no longer follow any but keep a list of my favorites and check their pages every couple of weeks.

I often will save the build as I go along, I'm not putting it in the Gallery, per se, just to My Library. But, even after I've saved, I sometimes catch a missed wall for wall treatment, or to my horror the repainted room is now over many parts of the exterior of the house. (A very old problem revisited, I fear.) So, once I fix the problem, I will save to My Library again. Many a time, I will use the Overwrite feature. I'm wondering if others are doing this, too. Only fixing the Gallery version they shared … I would certainly hope nobody is intentionally spamming, though.

Thanks for the responses. Correcting and reuploading a build makes sense, but I see the same builds, some of which were uploaded years ago being reuploaded throughout the week. And yea, all the likes too, even likes for my builds. It's all a bit much for me. I wish there was a way to mute or something, so that I can still check on my favorite, albiet spammy, creators. And because I tend to forget EAID's. The gallery needs major improvement overall to accommodate users better.

I'm not sure what the point of uploading that much is...
There's only 2 situations I could understand uploading more than once (not 50):
1. Realizing you've made a mistake/forgot something in the original upload and having to take it down to upload an edited one.
2. A gallery error. I've had the gallery tell me "There was an issue uploading your image to the gallery" and I would try again every so often to see if it would go through. Only to finally get a connection and realize that it uploaded the image a few dozen times. ^^;

Maybe you mean they are showcasing their creations, not reuploading them? Yeah, some people do this a lot. I check new creations under the “following” button on the main page now, not in my feed.
(Sometimes I find gems among others' favorites though)
