I wouldn't call it fake, I'd call it over exaggerated. And it is, just like all entertainment. Nobody wants to watch someone not react to something, that's why all emotions are pushed to the extreme for YouTube. It's the same way that all YouTubers have those thumbnails of them looking excited, or upset. It gets people interested and to click.

Bottom line is, people wouldn't do it if it didn't work. As someone mentioned earlier about a YouTuber throwing chairs when they're excited.

People like to watch that sort of thing. Someone who doesn't react is boring to watch.

That doesn't mean the game changers might not actually be genuinely excited, but I doubt it's "the best day of my life, I could cry" because lilsimsie got modular sofas. She's an entertainer, it's her job.

Yeah that's why I feel this video doesn't really work, if they would have showed random simmers then yes, I would have wondered why they were so excited. But these are gamechangers that are often very excited in all of their Youtube Thumbnail videos.

That said, I am happy that we have the gamechangers because I would not want to get rid of them and only have datamined marketing videos with no soul or heart whatsoever. So I guess I am a little bit curious what got them so excited.
