Get Famous: Happy/Unhappy w/Number of Lots?

I'm starved for space as it is. EA, it's time to give us another Newcrest so we have some room to build.

And Newcrest is my least favorite world; except for the waterfront (where I put parks), I really dislike its backdrops.

I'm fine with it. I haven't even come close to filling the neighborhoods in my current save so whether we get 11 more or 20 more makes no difference to me.

Just wanted to clarify my choice. My Forgotten Hollow is totally empty plus I have uninhabited residential builds in most of my worlds so it's not an issue for me. I do feel badly for those who were expecting more lots for building.

extremely disappointed at the size. We need more space so badly in TS4.

I'm not happy, I really wanted a bigger world and more lots but Get to Work came with even less lots.

I think it's just not too important, for this type of pack, to focus on having a bigger world. The gameplay should be the focus.


Superstar's Studio Town was never too big either to start with or focused on residential lots because the point was to go there to get famous and promote yourself as a superstar. I just wish the pinnacles had at least one more lot.

Not happy at all the first world I actually like the California style world I'd make for myself if they'd given us a CAW tool and I have 11 lots to work with just ridiculous.

I think even if you don't use all the worlds in your game you still need each world to have a standard amount because you build up a world for a save. Like I have a save where I only use willow creek and forgotten hollow. None of the other worlds exist. This is a concept save and so the population is tightly controlled by me and those are the only two worlds I live in/build in, but I was planning to add the new world to this save specifically because I'm playing a version of "cyberpunk" in this save. So a dirty sleazy hollywood would have gone along perfectly for it and now with 11 lots I can't really just transfer willow creek residents to this world at all. Just not enough lots so I will have to use both. Which defeats the purpose because my plan was to phase out the use of willow creek.

I am very unhappy. Del Sol Valley should have at least the number of lots Windenberg has. 11 is paltry and ridiculous.

To me, it's not about total lots across all worlds. I want to be able to put all the venues I imagine a specific world to have within that world. If I want to create a cute harbour-type restaurant in Brindleton Bay but there isn't enough space, the problem isn't solved if I just place it in Oasis Springs. It's about what atmosphere and what activities you want in a specific world, and a good number of lots allows this freedom.

In Del Sol, I'd love to make the community lot neighbourhood a nightlife hotspot. However, since the world is also very residential (Mirage Park), it makes it necessary to include something like a library and a gym. Buuuut yeah. Clearly not. It forces me to choose one or the other, while I could easily have had both if there were even just 2 more lots.

No I'm not happy. A huge world based on Hollywood and there are only 6 places to live? 3 of which you need to be rich to get to which will take forever if you don't use cheats. It's ridiculous. I use money cheats so I'm good if I get this pack, but for someone who wants to play through the game and build up from the bottom, it's a ridiculously low selection.
