Get to work: question about human-alien hybrids

Question

After playing spell casters for a few months I am ready to play some aliens again. In previous games I always sticked with full alien, not half aliens or human-alien hybrids. But now I really want to give them a try too. I have a few questions however.

1. Are all human-alien hybrids the same? Are there hybrids with (some) alien powers? If there are, does anyone know of one on the gallery?
2. How do human-alien hybrids react to other types of occults? Can they become spellcasters or mermaids without anything weird going on?
3. Is there a hidden trait associated with human-alien hybrids. I know there is a cheat (traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlien) to turn them into a full alien, but is there also one for half aliens?

Any time in the past when I had a human and an alien as the parents of a child it was either they were alien, or not. If they were not about the most that would happen would be that they would have their alien parent's alien skin color. or they were born full alien, with all the abilities. That is all I can really say because I haven't played with them much after the othe occults were added.

It's been a while since I played an alien-human hybrid. Usually, I play vampires, spellcasters, and some pure aliens now. My experiences were the same somebody with alien skin colours no alien abilities or an alien child with all the alien abilities.

Afaik there are no hybrids in TS4 - unless you use mods? If not, they're either aliens or they're not.

Perhaps my question was a bit confusing. I was wondering about children from one alien and one human parent, that have an alien skintone but are not full aliens. Looking at the comments so far, they are apparently just regular sims with a different skin tone.

I just had the chance to do a little test ingame. As far as I can see, they can become spellcasters without problems. So I assume the same goes for vampires and mermaids.
