So I have a household of 4 friends whom I put in the same club together. However, any time I get them all talking to each other at the dinner table, a gathering automatically starts and everyone in the club shows up at my front door and enters the house. It's really irritating.May there be a patch so that gatherings only start on our queue, as in actually clicking the Start Gathering button?

I wish they'd stop the automatic groups and gatherings altogether. They did that in Sims 3 and I hated it. It's just as annoying in Sims 4.

Anyone have an actual fix for this or is this something that will just be broken forever? It is really annoying and breaks the whole idea of Clubs. I can't go anywhere without an automatic gathering starting and the whole entire Club just showing up. A simple option to "disable" automatic gatherings would solve this problem.

Yes! I was gifted GT and while I appreciate the club's idea in theory I want to be able to control it. I had a sim join her first club and then she went home-welcome wagon turned up and because two of the club members were assigned to welcome wagon it triggered a club meeting and the house was full of sims eating, sleeping in her bed, using her computer and watching her tv. It was very annoying.

When you took multiple sims out in 3, even if it was only two, the game would automatically make them a "group". If you disbanded the "group", they'd go home. I found it irritating No, I don't want my sims being a group every time they go out.

Oh yeah god, this is sooo annoying. I thought it was a bug, but it seems to be a ''feature''. My Sim was running a bakery, and above the bakery I made a big kitchen for her to prepare her cakes and baked goods. I also made a baking club and made the kitchen above the bakery their hangout.

When my sim went to the kitchen to bake stuff, all out of the sudden a gathering started. Sims started baking, which I thought was great, but I wasn't even able to sell their baked goods. It's annoying.

Sometimes (well most of the time) I do not want other Sims bother me when I do not want it.

Not in my game. Single sim lives alone-automatic trigger if two members of her club turn up at her house.

Ah, you mean the little blue plumbob turning above their heads? I only find that little icon annoying, for the rest there are no consequences are there? It just makes sure they don't go anywhere during the date (or 'date').
