Give Us Randomized Traits!

I do miss that option from TS3

I would appreciate seeing this feature return as well. Sometimes I just don't know what I want to use, and I feel like I use the same traits over and over again. I know there aren't that many, but somehow a randomize feature just helps.

Agreed. I use sites like CreateArandomSim.com but it would be nice to just have it in game.

They have randomize for mostly every other personality option, It's a wonder how it's been 4+ years of Sims 4 without one for traits. I think we have just enough to make a larger pool for shuffling.

I currently use the mod I think you're referring to, and I think it randomizes the traits pretty well. My child sims do tend to inherit at least one trait from one of their parents, but I actually like that feature, as it's more realistic. It even gave a pair of twins a shared trait. That being said, it would be nice not to need a mod for this, especially since I have so many. It would be nice to be able to remove one because it's now part of the game.

OMG Agree so hard. I hate having to tab out and use 3rd party tools when a simple button click in-game could accomplish the same thing. Also, as someone else said, I dislike that a lot of randomizers that DO exist tend to pull traits from the parents. Which means if you're running a Legacy challenge you have 10 generations of sims with at least one trait that's shared almost universally. I like a little more diversity, personally.

I'd love this option so much! I too also end up with a 3rd party trait randomizer to give me some sort of idea for a sim whenever I feel like playing in CAS...
I also don't trust myself to pick traits since I have my fair share of favorites. I've been avoiding birthdays for most of my sims so I won't have any control over the traits they get when they age up while I play a different household :/
