Giving them a job without playing with them?
I want to change what sims are the neighbours without having to play with all the families. You know, just move the old ones out, create new ones and move them in. But then my town is filled with sims...

Try playing them to give them a job. Then, go into manage households and move them into the other households tab. I don’t know if they will develop skills or not though. You probably edit that stuff in CAS full edit mode, but I have never done that. I have noticed that some of my sims end up with a job by themselves...... mixologist, bar tender, yoga instructor, to name a few that I have seen. Someone else could tell you how to edit those things I’m sure though.
