Glass roofs are color swatches?

Oh I thought they would be a separate roofing tool, like we’d have the standard roofs with all of their swatches, and then glass versions of each roof type with a few different glass swatches.

I thought they meant that there be different design swatches. In the first trailer at 0:52 you can see hexagon shapes on the glass. Like in GT, some of the medium size glass doors have different design swatches in the color swatch options. I'm sure light will go through, its the very purpose of a greenhouse, light also go through windows and the glass dance floor from GT as well.
Edit: Someone who played answered on reddit that light does go through the glass roof.

Yeah pretty much big windows. At 0:49 you can see they're just windows.

I imagine that there will be more than one style of glass roof from which to pick, some plain, some fancy. I also think there will be colors for the framework. I'd like wood, light steel, dark steel, white, red and green to name just a few.

In the reddit the OP there said that there were 6 to choose from

They are talking about everything, this is only two comments on glass roofs it's more.

I know it's coming in the patch, but the glass roofs are AWESOME! They're just like changing the color of any roof you use & I believe there were like 6 styles!
