Going Back or Staying in

Hello :) As a non-influenced player (although I don't think Youtubers get bribed and made to say anything) I play both Sims 4 and 3. When Sims 4 came out, I completely stopped playing Sims 3 for about a year and a half - I didn't even touch it. Then I admit I did get a little bit tired of Sims 4, so I went back to 3. Now I am playing both, and have been for a long time. I think they both offer different gameplay which I think makes it more fun. Having said that I enjoy both games, Sims 4 really is my favourite and I think it's come a long way since launch :)

@HopefulSadnes I've been with the series since 2000 and I have gone back to sims 2.. Could not stand 3 and now 4... :cry:

I play both TS3 and TS4. When I want to play with the many features that are in TS3 I play that for a while.

Nah I still Play Ts4 and I hope for the best in Ts5 but with this bad of a start im a bit iffy. I was saying that you definetly weren'tpaid sorry if it wasn't clear

they do look it up Lazy Game reviewer and a few others talked about it and they're not forced to say anything but they do making publicity (and im pretty sure I said that you guys definitely weren't bribed but idk) . That's totally true and its obvious which is better in which subjects

I play both I still think that Sims 3 is the better game it is a shame that it had so many problems, but then Sims 4 does as well it is boring.

hi! first time posting in these forums, but been playing since the first generation, since i was like...12. in the interest of having a good comparison for myself, i went back (briefly) to sims 3 just to get a refresher of what it feels like. and honestly... it just doesn't cut it for me anymore. not that it was a bad game, and not that sims 4 is perfect. i agree it really sucked when it first came out because it was stripped of so many things that were base features from the last incarnations. i didn't even go out and buy it for myself cause i figured it wasn't worth the bother what with all the reviews. it wasn't until my husband (then boyfriend) decided to get it for my birthday last year that i actually started playing sims 4. and yes, it has it's faults (i.e. limited customization, no toddlers, etc) but these days, on the whole i just prefer it over sims 3. it's smoother, both aesthetically speaking and in terms of gameplay. and i know it's only been a recent update, but the new freedom in CAS for gender associations, what they wear, what they sound like, what they look like. i think that's great. i can live with the sims 4 and enjoy it the way it is. but if you get too caught up in what it's missing and worry about that the whole time, then yeah, it's not gonna be a fun time.
