When your send a sim to Granite Falls or The Jungle, either one, they will automatically have the days off. If you are going to be on vacation for a sim week, and your sims have to work 4 of those days and only has 3 vacation days, on the 4th work day, you'll have to go to work, but if you have the vacation days, they auto take them off, no need to call or anything. You only need to call to take a vacation day, if you are staying at home and want time off.
