Graphics👀

Oh! I haven't played in a while either. I'll be interested to see if there is a difference next time I play.

I think sometimes we just forget how pretty it is until we step away. I remember that happened to me not to long ago. Unless they secretly have done something to the graphics to improve it I think it's just pretty. Especially on ultra ? add Gshade and wow it's amazing. I heard they actually lowered the object quality according to modders so I don't know ?

I have always enjoyed the graphics of Sims 4.

I never noticed any change in the graphics until I stepped up to a gaming pc that has a graphics card--now that really made a big difference

I've occasionally stopped whatever I was doing to go get some coffee, then paused in the doorway, just looking at the monitor displaying the Sims. Sometimes in CAS, sometimes in Live mode just centred on a room or garden in winter, covered in snow. I just gaze at it, thinking, "that looks pretty spectacular".
Then I sit down and try to remember what I was doing before I got some coffee : )

I love the night skies. Sorry for the Ui but I am playing a challenge and need to have it for those screenies.

I’ve always loved the graphics in Sims 4. I think the visuals are the strongest element in the game. Sadly I have to play with most of my graphics options set to Low so I don’t get the full effect, but even so there are plenty of moments each time I play when I just look at the picture in front of me - the night skies, the waves, the kites/hot air balloons/planes/trains/birds/mountains in the background, the way the scenery looks from different angles, the colours, especially with the changing seasons, the realism in the way different worlds have different light quality …. there’s just so much to enjoy visually.

I play TS2 and TS3 quite regularly, so every time I come back to TS4 I’m struck by it all over again.

I was in the mood to play and was just looking at things again I had noticed some changes but it is really obvious now, thought I'd just pop in a few pics here this once. It's nice to enjoy the simple things.

My sims may need to spend more time outside.

I think that if you play regularly, any improvements will be so gradual that you won't notice as much as somebody who hasn't played for a long time. It's like when you haven't seen somebody for a long time and they gained or lost a lot of weight. It's a much bigger change than if you see them every day.

Plus the person who hasn't played for a long time could be playing on a system with better graphics than they had before.

I just saw this but it did seem different I take more steps away just to pop in for long play and there is just something about it, it's something else to enjoy.
