I started playing on day 1. September 2, 2014. I've enjoyed the game since the beginning. Even through the dark days of no toddlers. :p Looking forward to new content and new experiences in the coming years.

I started playing The Sims back in 2000 and each iteration has brought something new to enjoy and love about it. I moved on to TS4 shortly after release and it has come a long way since then. I still feel it has a lot of potential and I hope to see it continue to develop and improve for many years to come. :)

I started playing TS4 in December 2015. Up until then I was still very happy with TS3 and could not imagine switching to a game, which was so new that it would inevitably offer much less content. But I kept myself informed about what was going with the game by watching LGR's pack reviews and Andrew Arcade's LPs. When 'Get Together' came out I was finally convinced. The new concept of clubs and the beautiful town of Windenburg tipped the scales, so to speak. :)

I wish Sims 4 a Happy Birthday also. I skipped this version (for many reasons I will not get into) but, by gosh, it has grown exponentially. May it continue giving great pleasure and special moments for many years to come.Oh, of course, I look forward to a Sims 5 down the road!!!Joseph

I started playing in August 2015 after getting the game on "sale" (paid full price anyways because I messed up somehow :/). I remember pulling a string of all-nighters playing and being super excited while hiding under the covers with my laptop so my parents wouldn't see the light from my screen. The first sims I made was my simself and one of my original characters as a roommate.Ah, the Sims 4. It has opened up an entirely new world for me to pour my creativity into. You could say before 2015 the sims has been the series I was searching for for a long time. I love it!

I initially hated The Sims 4 and stuck to the Sims 3, but I finally got the game in 2015. Now, I barely play Sims 3 at all. I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I stuck with TS3 until summer of 2017, but decided to try out 4 when I finally got sick of how badly TS3 ran on my PC.

Had to choose 1 year, but it's actually only been about three months! I started during the basegame free release back in May! Of course, now I'm hooked...

(Not a Sims newbie, though, I played TS1 obsessively back in the day - Team Klapaucius represent - and have a lot of hours in TS3.)

Been playing a little over 2.5 years. I purchased TS4 upon launch, but didn't actually play because I was still very much into TS3 at the time, and TS4 was terribly lacking in content. The game finally got my attention when Vampires released in Jan. 2017, and I've been playing ever since, although I'm currently on a short(?) hiatus.

4 years. I bought it at the start of 2015.
Didn't buy it earlier as I had been out of the Sims loop pretty much since Sims 1 and didn't know there was Sims 4 until I'd been playing Sims 3 for a year thinking it was the latest game. Haha

Was ''straight up not having a good time'' with ts3 by the end of iteration
so I was not so optimistic hearing about ts4 releasing back then
but decided to give it a go anyway and well here we are playing again
having loads of fun

I started playing at the beginning but I was put off by the lack of toddlers, pools etc. It just seemed like it wasn't finished. I've just recently picked it back up and bought most of the expansions and packs. I've enjoyed catching up what I'd missed!

Purchased Sims4 on release day, hated it and didn't touch it again for over a year. Sims4 and I had a very bumpy beginning, and I went back to Sims3 until new DLC made Sims4 better to play. But as soon as toddlers came along I became more interested in playing. I seldom play with Sims3 now, and even though I find Sims4 lacking in some areas I do enjoy it.
