Just curious to see if it actually can happen? Has happened in none of my households yet :|

Not me but others have and they get 1 million simoleons, it’s nice but that’s too much for my liking

The first time I had my sims play it and one of them won. I thought the odds were stacked too high in favour of my sims and that they didn’t need the money so I cheated the winnings away lol. I decided that in future I would only play the lottery in families that could really use the money.

Mine haven't but the day after the winner was announced, my teen son met the daughter of the family that won as she was walking past his house. Guess who he started dating immediately? ;)Her parents were both dead by the time they'd both aged up to YA so she was the last member of the family - they are fabulously wealthy now. I bought them a relatively fancy house. She continues to work in the business career but he stays home watching the kids and painting all day. LOL

My sims haven't won. Had lottery day come up in two saves after extending each season to 14 days. I found the winners and moved them into my town and made them my neighbors.

Has anyone's active household or played households won the lottery before?

mine did the only time I played the game vanilla style and no cheats.. I moved him into a starter house and he won the next sim day :|

Yes. Just as I started a new game, one of my 4 sims won the lottery. Now I just delete the holiday as I see it popping up., and will never buy a ticket again.

Well I might have if the game had left the Lottery Holiday intact … One of my Sims aged up to teenager and as I always do when one of the kids ages up, I went into CAS to do hair and clothing changes, when I returned to live mode, the holiday was gone :( as were the lottery tickets. I also had the Harvestfest Holiday disappear when my Sim travelled to another lot (the feast was going to take place there). I was quite dismayed.

I've never had disappearing holidays happen to me, but will definitely watch out for it. Have you had it happen to a custom holiday that you created? That would help add details down for it.
