Have 3 sims dance at same time not working help please

@Pegasys There are things that have been broken since Day 1 that they never solved but that's not important - getting out as many stuff/game packs to bring in more money is their priority, not fixing the the stuff we've already paid for. And I understand that. I can deal with it or stop playing. But I maintain. This is an issue - if they don't care to fix it, they should at least create a cheat.

I generally play a full household, so that I have 8 Sims under my control. This allows for me to make sure all the drinks are had, the number of Sims consuming the food, involving the birthday Sim in conversation, et al, can be met. Guests are just too unpredictable. If not having the Gold for this category caused you undue grief, create a larger household to throw the party so you can control the situation better. Now, if I can only get the guests at a wedding to be considerate, take a seat, and actually witness the nuptials, I'd be a happy camper.

The trouble with this bug is even if you do have control of all the sims required for the activity, all performing the activity, the goal still says either 0 or 1 out of 3. A larger household won't change the situation. This bug only applies to the "at the same time" activities. So you might be able to manage getting to Silver but, sometimes, until you clear certain goals such as the "Dance at the Same Time" goal, it won't present you with any further ones.

I am not playing a strict legacy so getting Gold is not personally important right now, but I don't like seeing things that were fixed, re-broken.

I'm also seeing this bug a lot since Feb 22 patch. I thought it was one of my mods but happens when everything is taken out. Hope it gets fixed soon.

I'm having this issue. I cannot get gold on any social events except for the Spooky Party. And for some reason that doesn't count toward any Party Animal goals. :/

2) You have to do base game parties only for it to register towards that aspiration, sorry.

SomeChick1 makes a very good point. The Sims isn't in the hands of people who care about games anymore - the people in charge only care about money. I was hoping Sims 4 would be better because Sims 3 became unplayable, but bugs seem to never get fixed while they focus on selling new content. They should be able to see the obvious, tho. If the more expansion packs we buy, the more bugs we're likely to see that we can't trust to ever be fixed, we're not going to buy as many. After being optimistic at first, I'm now hesitant to buy anything I don't really want in case it comes with new bugs that make it harder to play. I'm skipping Spa Day and Dine Out for sure. Otherwise I might wait for a sale and pick up everything. I love the game but I don't like not knowing if it's going to work the next time.

The other day my sims got kicked out of their home lot after ending a party that I couldn't get higher than bronze. And they already reach backwards thru space to finger tickle each other hello...

@personman278 I'm not a "gamer" by any means but I've played different games in the past and I guess I just took it for granted that the quality of their product and ensuring that all of the features of a game actually worked was universal. I didn't know that would be optional in the Sims. They may think this stuff doesn't matter because people just keep buying their products but this is my first and last Sims experience. I saw a trailer for Sims 5. Looks so cool but no thanks. I wouldn't play it if they gave it to me free. lol.

The new patch that just came out today March 20, 2018) fixes the party thing, reading books and disappearing CL apt furniture.
