Having a baby at the hospital not working

I sent my sims in normally, but had to come back home to have the baby. The hospital spawned employees, but they just stood outside the building doing nothing. After a while they disappeared and got replaced by new ones. It just continued. Anyone else having trouble with this?

    I've not had that specifically, but I have had a hospital related issue where they go through the procedure, but when it's done they just stand around still in labour. I've found it best right now to just use a bassinet at home.

    I've never had this glitch before. I guess I'll test it with another family next time I have a baby coming. I don't have cc or mods btw.

    Yes sadly this is a glitch. The only work around ( and annoying one at that) is to send your sim home. By clicking on them and selecting send home. Then once at the home lot click on have baby at hospital again.

    The second time should kick in the doctor and get them to deliver your sims baby.

    What I also do is since I have MCC I right click on the doctor and do a reset object.
