That isn't true and has never been in the game as far as I know. Strawberries / pop music for girls, carrots / alternative music for boys. Don't think there is a way to guarantee twins but there is a bug where almost every birth (at least in my game ) are twins.

I read that if both sims are flirty at woohoo, then you get twins. In my game, the Pancakes were flirty and I got twins. Another couple was not flirty, and they only had one kid.

*not 100% true IF you play with MC Command Center. :) (Mod overrides game in this area, depends on settings.)

If you want a boy, have the pregnant sim eat carrots and listen to alternative music. I don't know how to get a girl yet. I'm looking for it now.

IF you don't play with MCCC. If you do, none of that "choice of gender" stuff matters, it's all mod-managed.

I wonder what else influences the baby's gender. Could the WooHoo spot have an influence on what the baby will be? :o

Boy- Carrots
Girl- Apples

I have made a challenge of having only girls. Strawberrys and listening to Pop music has given me 12 girls so far. Alternative music and eating carrots will influence boys. There is a mod called The Pregancy Mod, in the mod you can chose to have boys or girls.

Your suppose to be able to sway your choice according to what sims eat or listen to unless that's broken since a patch.

If you don't like the child's gender you can always age up the baby to a child and take it into cas with the edit sim feature and change it s gender.
