having a stairs issue

Enable move objects and try to delete it. You can always turn the cheat off if you don't want to use it further.

Could you try with a different set of stairs? I understand you want a certain design, but in my experience the various stairs might give different possibilities. I have built stairs without floor tiles under them. I have had sets of stairs running several floors on the same tiles, but it was ot possible with any version of the stairs. Sorry, I can't recall what version allows for what, but perhaps trying stairs from different packs - starting with those last added to the game...

I also encountered this issue when building the other day. Tried everything under the sun that I know of to fix it but no luck. MOO doesn't work btw. That's a cheat to place items. Not to delete tile. Nor does it work for placing stairs.

My "workaround" was to blend it in with the swatch of the stairs.

It works well in your build, because the stairs are against a building, but in mine they're supposed to be standalone.
I don't know, maybe I'll just not have the stairs there for the sake of my own sanity. :D

The closest I can think of is to make the stairs only from the first floor to the second floor, and then put a bend in the staircase to create the look you want. I think you could raise the foundation too, to give the look of that ground floor, even though it wouldn't be functional.

Then to create the other set of stairs going up to the balcony, you could position those over the landing that has the entrance to the first floor.

I found that I had to place the stairs first, then raise the foundation, then create the bend in the stairs after that. Doing those steps in a different order gave different results.

I tried to recreate what you were doing and managed to get rid of that part by moving the floor inwards toward the stairs. Not sure if that helps at all :)

@belpita The stairs have already created a room for themselves automatically.

Yes, that also deletes the stairs.
It appears that stairs always have to have floor underneath it.
