Yo Ho Ho and Ahoy there me Hearties!!! Great to see ye all!
CAPTAIN_NXR7 here!
Sorry, who’s that now?
Ah, of course ! I’m better known on the official forum as CAPTAIN_NXR7. Can’t blame ye.
I’ve heard that:
So where’s me cookies? (No hardtack this time, please). I’ll be sure to look after the rest no problem!
(That was supposed to be a funny GIF, but apparently GIFS don’t work on here, so there goes that plan.)
Just testing the waters. It’s my first time sharing a very important message on here, but as you can see I’m only a 3 star novice, I have no clue what I’m doing. I’m actually surprised I already HAVE 3 stars. What does it all mean?! 🤔
It's wonderful to see you here @CAPTAIN_NXR7!😃 For our new friends here who have not had the pleasure of meeting the Captain, there won't be a dull moment with him around. 😎

Hello!
I'm Moozilla, avid world travel enthusiast and lover of books, history, tech, and gaming. Pleasure to meet everyone 😁
I've been a gamer since...uh...a long time, but I'm actually fairly new to the Simming community compared to a lot of folks here. I started with Sims 3, mostly just dabbled, and only really got into it with Sims 4 when the life simulation niche finally succeeded in hooking me for good. It was even more recent that I found my way to AHQ (I joined back when we were getting that autonomous insulting bug, which was major enough that I finally gave in and looked for help), but I really love the supportive community I've discovered here. It makes a huge difference to the overall experience.
Fave Sims 4 world: Gotta go with Henford. It works so well for historical gameplay, which I do a lot of (historical and fantasy are my things)
Fave Sims 4 pack or kit: Hmmmm...too hard to pick just one. The occult-based ones are most central to my gameplay, so those...but I also really love Seasons (holidaaaaaays), Cottage Living (for the world and simple living), City Living (for the world and festivals), and Get Together (clubs). Honorable mention to Snowy Escape and Island Living. (Yeah, I was never going to be able to narrow it down very far lol.)
Build vs live mode: I don't actually build much from scratch, but I alter existing or downloaded builds (often substantially) and I love to decorate, so I spend quite a bit of time on that. I'd say it's about half-and-half as far as how much time I spend on worldbuilding and on playing households.- rosemow2 years agoHero+
Hello @Moozilla13 🙂 It is lovely to meet you.
It is great that you have been a gamer for a long time, and started simming by playing Sims 3, then started playing Sims 4.
Henford is a lovely country cottage world! It is a great world for historical gameplay. It is very nice that you enjoy historical and fantasy theme gameplay.
Each of the packs that you enjoy playing are great packs! They each have their own special features, activities, build items, cas items and types of worlds that add a lot to playing the game and our sims lives. Snowy Escape and Island living are lovely different types of worlds for our sims to enjoy visiting and living in.
It is nice that you enjoy spending half of your simming time playing the game and the other half enjoying decorating builds to suit your sims and save game theme.
Happy simming! 🙂- simgirl10102 years agoHero+
