Sul sul!My Simming history has two "eras." I began playing The Sims not long after it was released. This would have been 2001. I was a teenager then. I didn't return to the franchise until summer 2021, when I rediscovered it as an antidote to the stresses of a pandemic world. I've spent most of my second Simming career playing TS4, with some TS3 mixed in.I joined The Sims Forum in June 2021. My screen name is/was the same on that forum. My favorite Sims worlds are Brindleton Bay, Britechester, and Henford-on-Bagley. I enjoy the "vibes" of those worlds, which remind me of favorite real-life locales. I also enjoy Newcrest, because I can make it into almost anything I want it to be.'I am a terrible builder, although I'd like to become better at it. My Simming partner is my daughter, and she spends hours creating Sims in CAS. I think I like playing the game more than anything else.

I'm an Adult Simmer living in Canada. I'm a longtime work-from-homer (this ought to be a word), and Sims support fits into little gaps in my day when I need to take my brain off work for a bit. Actual playing waits for nice, long stretches of time when I don't have a to-do list hanging over me. That's not as often as I sometimes wish even though my kids are all grown, but I have a lot of different hobbies! When did you start simming? I started within a couple of months of the game coming out. One of my kids had a friend tell them about it, and we bought the game, and I was hooked. Before Sims, I'd been a SimCity and Civilization player. What is your favourite Sims 4 world? I like the desert and rocky worlds because they're so different from where I live. So Oasis Springs, Strangerville, and the one with Horse Ranch. But I use most of the worlds pretty regularly. What is your favourite Sims 4 pack or kit? I can't pick one! But I have a particular fondness for Cats and Dogs (I don't have pets in real life but sometimes dogsit the BEST doggo). And sometimes I've had early access and really, really missed Seasons. Do you like building or creating sims household or playing the game, the most? Or you do like doing all these things equally? I love creating new households and then "discovering" who they are in gameplay. I play rotationally with a lot of households, and aging up the world refreshes them for too.

Well, anyway...I've been playing The Sims since Sims 2, when Night Life came out. I skipped Sims 3 after trying it a few times and joined Sims 4 about two months after release. I'm a CAS addict, love to create Sims, and can't build to save my life so I am very co-dependent on the Gallery, for which I am eternally grateful for all of the amazing creations that Simmers have shared. I love Occults so much in Sims 4, Vampires is my favorite pack, but I also love Werewolves, Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, Journey to Batuu (fight me!), StrangerVille, Paranormal, and any EPs and SPs that involve mysticism, fantasy, sci-fi, Superheroes, Steampunk or Apocalypse. For that matter, anything Goth or extraordinary will grab my attention as well. Can't say I have a favorite world, as I use almost all of them and appreciate each one for its theme. I have over 200 Sims that I play, some more than others, and I love to switch around between households depending on my mood or adventure ideas. I do wish we had some kind of really big Occultish world though, so I could actually have a supernatural community. Maybe one day...I've been haunting the old Sim forums for over nine years and am very sad to see them go, as they carry a lot of memories, but change can refresh things, so I thought I'd bring my cringe jokes along and step into the new horizon. Forward, ho!

Hello 😃I have been playing since The Sims 1 , got that as birthday present 🙂 Played Sims2 only for years, until got Sims4 when it was free at first time. Now I play both , 2 and 4 . 🙌Never tried 3, it was the time of my gaming hiatus in general.Henford and Sulani being my favorite worlds, also I love San Myshuno.I love horses. IRL and in game, but my playstyle is so slow, I still haven't explored at Chesnut Ridge much 🤫

My husband introduced me to Sim Tower from 1995 in June 2015, and I beat the tower and a couple got married in the cathedral atop the Tower. So, by September 2015, he bought me TS4. The first month of playing, building and CAS was pretty funny! I mean I didn’t find the paint for a month…haha! Three months later, I had a 3 floor house with two basements, and my main Sim Family whom I still play today were building their millions until they got to the max in the game: 9,999,999. I thought that it was cool that my sims had made 9,999,999, and so my screenname became coolsim9999999! I have been Simming ever since!What is your favorite Sims 4 world? I’ve always been partial to NewCrest because my main Sim family lives there. Granite Falls is my favorite destination world.What is your favurite Sims 4 pack or kit?Outdoor Retreat was the first pack I ever bought, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I spent tons of time in San Myshuno --- especially when it was new, so, I think City Living is my favoirite EP. My favorite stuff pack is Backyard Stuff because of the two waterslides! Hello @MoonlightGraham 🙂 It is lovely to meet you.
It is great that you started simming by playing Sims 1 as a teen and then after a break, returned back to simming on 2021 by playing Sims 4 and Sims 3. Many simmers found simming to be very helpful in the midst of the pandemic.
Like you said, the vibes of Brindleton Bay, Britechester, and Henford-on-Bagley are very nice.
It is very special that both you and your daughter are simmers ❤️It would be much fun and enjoyable for you both chatting together about The Sims

It is great that you started simming by playing Sims Tower, then you began playing Sims 4 when your husband bought it for you.
Your first month of playing the game sounds fun! It can take a little while to first get used to it, but it is fun at the same time!
It is great that to find out the background to your screenname 🙂
NewCrest is a great place for sims families to live.
Outdoors Retreat is a lovely place for sims to go on a vacation and have fun camping outdoors, or staying in a rental home.
The waterslides in Backyard Stuff are great!
It is nice that you enjoy a mix of building, playing and creating sims. You would enjoy doing whichever you feel like doing at that time on a day.

I'm a long time simmer from the beginning as well. Strangely it was a divorce that started me down this path. At least with the Sims. I also played earlier games and spent a lot of time on Pogo games as well.
However its the Sims that have me now and of course being retired helps.
I am a great grandma of three littles and they are the loves of my life. Horses are my passion and besides sims I do like to play adventure games and of course read every chance I get.
Here's to a new ( another) beginning. 🧡🧡
ooops I guess i answered mostly personal questions so will add here that Of course its Horses for the fav pack.
I do love new builds but sadly that I lack the talent for. Thank goodness for all you talented builders out there. You are appreciated.

It is great that you have been simming since 2009/2010 by playing Sims 3, and are now enjoying playing Sims 4.
Tartosa is a lovely world! Your other favourite worlds are also very nice.
It is great that you enjoy having your sims doing the acting career. It is an enjoyable feature of Get Famous and is fun!
I also enjoy having my sims painting in the game.
It is very special that you enjoy doing SimLit. It is a lovely way to express your creativity and involves all parts of simming, from creating sims, to building lot for them to live in and visit, then playing the game for them to live out their sims lives in your stories.

It is great that you have been playing since the original The Sims. You would have spent many fun hours over the time simming in your games.
Oasis Springs is a lovely desert world and the tropical and beach feel of Sulani is very nice.
It is enjoyable playing the game and watching the daily lives of our sims, and seeing what happens next in the adventures of their simming lives!
