- telemwill4 years agoSeasoned AceI believe there is a mod that will let you send teens to university.
- There's not really an between mode. 16-17 are teens. I imagine young adult sims to be 18-26. That's university range in my opinion.

Anyone help me make a very young adult around the ages of 17-16. I'd like to make a younger adult who isn't a teen but a young adult. This way I can make a university student and he'll go to university!
Is the problem that you're having, that something's not working for trying to send your sims to university?
edited to clarify: it isn't possible for us as players to just invent a new life stage, so that seemed like the only explanation, is that you're trying to send a sim to uni but it's not working for some reason? Please explain if that's not it?- PhilxSims4 years agoNew VeteranI think the OP needs to work out what the life stages mean for them. By definition (in the UK and most other places), 18 and 19 year olds are both Teens and Young Adults. For me the Teen category is generally 13 to 16 and Young Adults are 18+, so students just starting university (for me) are Young Adults. I've recently started a Sim at University and used young looking Young Adult Sims as the students. I also use a height slider to help differentiation the Teens from Young Adults.

Not by specific life stages but in cosmetics. - LlamaOMama4 years agoNew Ace

And I know about the life stages just I want to make a younger adult that can have a job. I've played the Sims 4 for a year now lol. - LlamaOMama4 years agoNew AceI just have a different clarification.
- GalacticGal4 years agoLegendIf you're looking to create a look in CAS, for a male Sim you could try making him lean and his shoulders on the narrow side. I do believe the mod MCCC (Master Controller Command Center) by Deaderpool, you can set it up to allow a Teen to hold a full-time job. I think there is a way to even be able to send a Teen to Uni.

So to clarify you want to make a young adult sim into a teen sim but only in looks? So that you can have a teen sim that are able to do young adult things like go to university or work without being tied to school right? Or just a young adult that never grew out of their younger features? I think I understand.
It's hard to really explain it... I can't exactly explain a "young kind of look" and every little detail changes how the sim looks.
Sims don't change that much in lots when you age them up and down so one thing you could do is get a young looking teen sim (maybe you can make one or find one on the gallery.) And age them to a young adult. They will literally still look like the teen.
Also when making your own sim I think fluffier cheeks and small rounded faces can help a sim look younger. Face shape can make a big difference. Depends on the sim in question but sometimes smaller features can help too. Sizing down the lips/nose etc. And making the eyes bigger rather than smaller. Kind of like an anime.
I love playing around with making different ages in CAS.
Don't underestimate that head shape change feature that you get my clicking on the Sims forehead. Even though I've been playing for years I only recently learned about that and started using it.
I recently got my adult sim to look like a teen by accident by changing the head shape with that feature. He looked way younger than his character was suppose to be so I had to change him back.
If it's a girl sim keep the makeup minimum to none. Though I use light make up like soft eye liner, natural (cc) looking lipstick that only has a slight tint and sometimes short eyelashes.
A lot of other factors depend on your sim. Some Sims look younger with freckles, some with glasses, others with the perfect shade and type of blush. And personally I think longer hair makes boy Sims look older so I would go for shorter hair. For girls it can be long or short but it does make a difference on which hair you pick. Just got to play around with the hairs.
