High School Grades, when regularly following to school.

I seem to remember this was a bug. When one regularly follows a teen to high school, their grades aren't improving even though the requirements are met and the bar is full...

  • Yep, it's still a bug, I'll save you a click by posting the link also posted in that thread :)

The workaround is still the same afaik, send the student alone for one day when their performance is high enough to go to the next grade level.

  • They get higher grades on exams if you send them alone. In my game with my settings, exams are every Friday. I send them alone every Friday.
  • To me it seems random how long it takes for their grade to go up when joining them at school. Some seem to do it effortlessly, had one go from C to B just after a week, most take forever but they do eventually advance. If the sim is a really bad student they'll promptly drop a grade as soon as the progress bar hits its lower limit but there's no telling how long it'll take to advance when the bar is full, but they do eventually advance. I don't see doing homework and extra credit helping any so I've stopped bothering with that.
