How best to save the house and Sims to the gallery?

I’ve just finished a makeover of Bob and Eliza Pancakes and a re-colour/makeover of their home (pique hearth).
How do I save them to the gallery? I want to be able to retrieve them on another computer or at a later date in the state they are in now.
And when I say how, I mean how. Do I have to go to the mirror and into “Change Sim” again? Will that even work?

    Yes, you can save the household by choosing "Change Sim." Then, click on the folder with the arrow in the top right. You can save them publicly (by clicking the cloud in the bottom left) or privately (by clicking the folder on the bottom right). This only saves the household, though. To save their home, you need to go into build mode. Then, click on the folder with the arrow on the top of the screen. Again, you can save this publicly or privately. Saving publicly will allow you to access them from another computer, but it will also allow others to see your creations.
