How do i open a image and keep it floating above the game while in CAS?

I have a project of recreating Twinbrook in SIms 4. While they dont release a Sims 4 CAW i decided to remake the houses and families in the game. I have built 3 houses already and i already posted the first house (Aquarius Atrium) in ModTheSims. You can check it here.
But, i am having trouble reacreating the sims accurately in Sims 4 and someone from MTS suggested me to open a image from sims 3 of the sim i am recreating that had half of its face, to then tweak the sim in sims 4 CAS. But i dont know how to keep the images opened when i click in the sims 4.
I dont know if you guys can understand what i am trying to ask, but thats basicaly it.

  • The best way I can think of would be to switch the game to windowed mode and resize the game's window so that you can see both the game and the image on the desktop.
  • Can you use a smartphone or tablet? That's what I do since I can't stand the game in windowed mode.

This is what I was going to suggest.

Change your setting so your game isn't full screen.

Last month i was trying a method were i would have both TS3 and TS4 opened. I would be switching from both of them, trying to see if i was doing it properly. But then i just got tired of this process... -.-

So, there is now way to do what i said?! I didnt thought of using my smartphone. I think i am going to try that, then.
    Thanks guys, youre all awesome!
  • there are third party programs that allow you to force a window to always stay on top. Apart from that, I have no other suggestion from what has already been recommended.
  • Its the real world money option but I absolutely cannot live without two monitors anymore.
It really does change how productive you can be.

Aside from that, like what others have said windowed mode is going to be your best bet.
  • I'm gonna be old-fashioned and suggest (if all else fails) to print out the pics of the Sims 3 sim! Or like @SimplyJen said, open the pics on your tablet/phone.
